The school diary has been planned with a view to help the students in their studies and to inculcate the habit of doing their assigned works regularly. Students are advised to take down the instruction given by the teachers regarding home work. Students need not ask parents to do their home work for them. They can just seek their guidance. Students must remember the home work as per instruction given by the teachers before they start working at home.
Education at GJAV is conducted in the English language and a high standard of English is required for success in the C.B.S.E. Therefore, the use of English in the school campus is compulsory as much as possible. The school authorities hold regular Attendance. Alertness in class, Performance in regular Class work and Rivision hence Co-operation of parents is necessary to make progress.
All absence from school, even with prior permission of the principle, must be explained by the parents, in the ‘Absence Record’ which is found in their ward’s diary, before it can be condoned and the student is admitted in to the class. If the leaves are more than three days, an explanation in a separate letter must be added and sanctioned by the Principle.
Without prior permission, absence of more than three days before or after a vacation, renders the student liable to have his/her name removed from the rolls and must be submitted to a formal re-admission by paying a fee of Rs.200/-when he/she comes back.
For withdrawal of a student, at least THIRTY DAYS notice in writing must be given to the Principle failing which, a month’s fees will be charged, in lieu there of. Security money will be refunded only after the withdrawal of the pupil. Those who leave the school in May are required to pay the fee for the month of June also. No T.C. is issued during summer vacation. A transfer certificate will be issued only after obtaining a clearness certificate stating that all dues have been paid, the school’s library books and other articles have been returned.
